I have a quick question though — we have very hard water where the factory is and are getting a lot of limescale build-up in the boiler and heating ring main. We are considering using DI water in this system instead of tap water. Hi Luke, We received the mechanic seals and adaptors for the homogenizers. The installed mechanical seals are working good. Until now the tanks are working really good. Your help is appreciated. We appreciate doing business with you. About the new mixers we don’t know yet. Our Ginhong mixers are working really good but I don’t know what will be the final decision. Thank you very much.

Good evening Luke. I hope you’ve been well and had a good Chinese new year! We have been very well. Our business has grown and the blender is doing really well. Plenty of power and the lobe pump really helps with discharge and the high-content fat recipes. I had problems with the powder feeder. It would stall with certain starches and it would be a pain to try and get it to go in. I finally found a good method to make a slurry in the hopper. The addition rate is much higher with a slurry rather than with dry powders. Happy we solved that one. And overall I’m really happy with the performance of the machinery and the quality is very good. So thank you.

I have a question, you mentioned that vacuum should be -0.8bar but my question is if we want to create pressure, how much pressure can we do?

Hi Luke, It is so funny that you emailed me this morning because just yesterday was the first time that we got to use all of the new machines that we bought from you. They worked wonderfully!!!! Everyhing is fine with the machine. We have done various products and the results have been excellent. Still learning how to drive it properly for the different types of products (time, speed etc). We have the mixer working very nicely now. Very good batch times. 3 batches X 100kg in 2hrs 20 minutes (3hp chiller certainly the right choice). Overall very happy and pleased to be a reference if you wish.
