Gel Mixers — Topical Gels & Hydrogels

Process guidance, capacity range and machine recommendations for pharmaceutical gels.

What you're making

Topical gels, hydrogels, ultrasound gels, lubricating gels — these are polymer-thickened aqueous or hydroalcoholic systems requiring careful pH adjustment and deaeration.

Typical capacity: 50L — 500L
Typical viscosity: 5,000 – 50,000 cps

PROCESS

How to make it on our machines

Dissolve polymer thickener in water/alcohol phase under slow agitation → neutralize to gel → add API and actives → deaerate under vacuum → discharge.
